Pharoahe Monch – “Clap (one day)” f. Showtyme & DJ Boogie Blind

Despite several delays and no official release date, Pharoahe Monch finally drops an official single on us from his upcoming Duck Down debut, W.A.R. (We Are Renegades). The track is called “Clap (one day)” and it is produced by M-Phazes, who graces Monch with possibly one of his freshest beats to date. Even though the beat is absolutely ridiculous, the spotlight is on Monch, who happens to be my favorite rhyme spitter of all time, and rightfully so. There is really no one messing with that combination of story-telling, flow, voice and overall ability to hold over a crowd on the microphone. Which reminds me, this dude rocks an incredible live set! Peep evidence of that after the skip, a live debut of the track on London’s Kiss 100 a few months ago.

Hit the skip to stream “Clap (one day)”.

  1. I love this track. I just do. That’s all.

  2. I’m only going to listen to this once so that it will be new when I get the album. This is incredible because I am always waiting for pharoahe to shine again. I’m glad that we won’t have to wait for this like desire. Production id banging but Monch is delivering like always on my list to pick up this year.
