Okay this post clearly isn’t about a song from Four Tet, but it is being released on his label. The track “Bird Songs” comes courtesy of some mysterious producer by the name of Percussions who we were first introduced to on Fabriclive 59 , and now they’ve got a full release slated on Four Tet’s Text label. It’s got all the markings of a track that would catch the attention of Four Tet, steady pulsing electronic based on mostly organic sounds fit right at home in the Text discography. The track is featured as part of TEXT017 with “Rabbit Songs” on the flip and is in record stores now, but you can stream it below.
