Like “Solo” before it, “Fleas On A Dog” is another leftover track from the upcoming debut album from New Zealand genre-benders @Peace. It’s also a free download, which is always welcome, but don’t expect anything similar to what you hear on “Solo”. While that was a blunted, laid-back listen for lazy afternoons, “Fleas On A Dog” is a more blistering, funky track with stream-of-conscious raps and some serious work on the bass. But the best part? It was inspired by this portion of a George Carlin standup routine.
