We’re fans of the work of Open Mike Eagle over here at Potholes so I’d like to apologize for not posting the link to his free EP, Art Rap After Party, or the visuals for EP-standout “Haircut” sooner. Truth be told, I got caught up with some other stuff and, unfortunately, it slipped my mind for a few days. Anyway, I’m digging the tongue-in-cheek direction here — at least it appears that way — along with the Grand Theft Auto 3 reference in the second verse. “Haircut” is a little different from what I was expecting from OME, but hey, when you’re able to go slightly left-field and still kill it, you’re OK in my book.
