Earlier this week, we heard Open Mike Eagle and Danny Brown‘s incredible — yeah, that’s right — collaboration, “Cobra Commander“, which is a bonus track on the Los Angeles rapper’s upcoming 4NML HSPTL album. And today, we’re exclusively bringing you the Awkward remix to “Cobra Commander”.

Awkward, who’s behind the entirety of 4NML HSPTL, retains original’s already-awesome verses; I mean, who doesn’t want to hear Mike get slightly paranoid while Danny wyles out about anything and everything? But Awkward has switched the beat up considerably, adding subtle snaps, slightly wobbly synthesizers, and plenty of b-a-s-s BASS.
