While I was certainly a fan of Onra’s last LP Long Distance, his upcoming project has me all sorts of excited. Where Long Distance was heavily based in the ’80s, Chinoiseries Pt. 2 is a strong development for Onra’s sound into sample-based hip-hop. The original Chinoiseries dropped back in 2007, a Chinese and Vietnamese influenced instrumental project that is destine to stir the minds of hip-hop heads. Chinoiseries Pt. 2 is set to drop Nov. 15 via All City.
