I guess it’s become a cliche to say at this point, but I have to ask: Does Oddisee ever rest? It seems like I’m hearing about a new project or actually hearing a new project featuring him every month or so. Or I’m reading that he’s heading out on a tour with Diamond District. Here, we have the latest track featuring the production skills of Oddisee, who has laced a perfectly soulful cut for British crooner Olivier Daysoul. The two have clearly created something fresh with “Labor”, the first track off Daysoul’s forthcoming Mr. Saint Louis EP. The song works to both showcase the singer’s smooth vocals and Oddisee’s increasingly solid range as a producer.
