Whether he’s rapping, producing, or both, Oddisee remains one of our favorite artists here at Potholes. And we’re pretty damn excited to learn that he’s gearing up to release his new solo album, People Hear What They See, on June 5 via the good folks at Mello Music Group. While you won’t find “Hustle Off” on there, it’s a great lil’ holdover jam until the album gets here. Fans of Oddisee’s down-to-earth rhymes and always-progressing production are sure to love this. for me … the best news of 2012. never said a word to dude but from the few interviews i’ve seen and from listening to his growth i’ve got a huge amount of respect for oddisee as a person. and he translates his perspective beautifully.
