It’s borderline crazy (to me) to think about just how immensely gifted Oddisee is as an artist. The guy is capable of capturing so many different sounds and moods with his music, which is evident on new single “After Thoughts”. I was introduced to him during his more strictly boom-bap phase and since then he’s continued to impress me with each and every artistic endeavor, especially on here. “After Thoughts” is a dream-like instrumental outfitted with pianos, synths, and his always-great drums, so it’s only fitting that the visuals follow that lead.
