Listen: Nocando Gets Busy About Globetrotting On “Osaka”

nocando-osakaSelf-appointed (and accurately stated) Leimert Park legend Nocando tends to get inspired during his trips to Japan. When he traveled there back in 2010, he and producer Nobody came up with the idea for their Bomb Zombies project after listening to a bunch of the latest rap tunes. Three years later, Nocan put together the visuals for one of his then-latest tracks, “More Credit” off the excellent Tits N’ Explosions mixtape, as a means of showcasing his favorite city on the island nation.

The city in question is Osaka, which (surprise, surprise) is the title of his latest joint. With a funky earworm of a beat behind him, the Los Angeles spitter raps about his globetrotting exploits, being the rap game Kafka, and having currency from a slew of different countries. But when it comes down to it, there’s no place like home (shout out to Dorothy and her glittery kicks).

You can hear “Osaka” below. Be sure to peep Nocan’s latest project, Jimmy The Burnout, here.
