Nicolas Jaar & Sasha Spielberg – “Avalanche” (Leonard Cohen Cover)

After Nicolas Jaar collaborated with Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Scout Larue on “With Just One Glance”, I had no idea the young producer would continue to work with Hollywood’s female offspring. Today, much to our surprise, he is now collaborating with Sasha Spielberg. She is, you guessed it, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw’s daughter. The track is called “Avalanche”, a reimagining of Leonard Cohen’s original work. With a haunting, minimalist touch, this is the perfect song for this rainy day we are having here on the east coast. “Avalanche” will land on The Prism, a $40 aluminum cube that will include a number of unreleased jams.
