ndeluv – #Hoodmusic [EP Stream]

Okay, lets talk. This dude ndeluv, a.k.a. Nieko Deluv, is from San Francisco and he’s part of the ambient R&B movement the Weeknd has made popular. #Hoodmusic is viral ready; he’s already got Twitter marketing schemes. His music is delay, reverb, ambient, sporadic drums, synth work and vocals that seem to drift away. So, do you like it? Well, I do. And, I think you’ll dig this. I’m all about this re-imagined R&B phase and ndeluv’s eight tracks exemplify, well, sexiness. Like, what Barry White, Brian McKnight and Boyz II Men (to name a few) have done for R&B in years past, this new wave is less polished, more raw, molasses slow and just as sweet. Give this EP a chance, but don’t chance the baby-making qualities of this music. Wear a condom ya’ll!
