Yeah, I realize that isn’t a picture of the producer whose album is featured here, but I couldn’t find a big enough picture of NAMELESS to save my life. Instead, I opted to go with a shot of Samus from one of the Metroid Prime games seeing how she’s featured on the cover for 16-Bit: Bonus Stages. The album, which is obviously inspired by the video game culture, finds NAMELESS linking with a pretty damn nice lineup including Easy Yves Saint, Naledge, Crown Nation, and Vandalyzm, among others. For me, though, it’s all about the instrumental madness on here, especially when NAMELESS and Dibia$e destroy that Super Mario Brothers 3 sample on “Ice Chunks”. Good LORD.
