Myron & E dropped one of my favorite albums this year with the Soul Investigators in Broadway, a concise and cohesive collection of soul, funk, and R&B. It’s retro but not in a gimmicky kind of way. Instead, it feels like you’re listening to an album that glanced over when you were digging through the ’70s soul crates at your local record store. Driving that feeling home is the rad new video for “Do It Do It Disco”. The highly danceable jam soundtracks a night out at the rollerskating rink and it’ll probably leave you wishing it was Saturday and not, you know, f–king Wednesday.
