Before Freestyle Fellowship‘s reunion album, The Promise, drops this fall, we’ll be hearing a new project from quick-tongued rhymer Myka 9. He’s fifth solo album to date, Mykology, is due out Oct. 3 on SoundVise Records and, from the sound of its first leak, the record should be pretty damn funky. “Oh Yeah…Alright” is a foot-stompin’, throwback-style party jam that pairs up Myka with some other West Coast O.G.s in Aceyalone, Casual, and Sunspot Jonz while like-minded spitter Kirby Dominant stops by, too.
