Motëm – “Evil Unexact”

Motëm and I once had a jam session. I was on keys, he was on drums, and Greg of MATTERS was running cuts on the turntables. I remember clearly how tingly that session was, overcast by dude’s aura of uniqueness both musically and in terms of his straight up presence. This guy is a strange and uninterpretable creature, a multi-instrumentalist, an unburdened fashionist. A lone rider. To pin him an “individual” is a blatantly obvious conclusion from the moment he steps in the room: You have never met anyone like him, and you probably never will for the rest of your comparative shortbread cookie cutter life.

Either believe me or believe yourself by perusing his youboob channel. It is filled with DIY unpredictable aesthetic adventures based upon physical interpretations of his productions–that in some moments resemble B’s cooking dance (sans the cooking)–that take place not in the bedroom but in unlikely outdoor locations around the Hamilton area. As for what you can expect from the visuals for “Evil Unexact,” take it from Motëm: it is “the most evil and menacing motem video/track 2date, like one of my skwee classic gone EVIL.”
