West Coast jazz-soul trio Moonchild landed on my radar thanks to the dude Intuition, who likes to send us his favorite new music instead of dropping some himself. But hey, that’s perfectly fine considering he’s got good taste, which is evident upon hearing Moonchild’s new single, “Back to Me”. It stems from their Be Free album, which dropped this past April and features plenty of laid-back vocals and strong, sometimes-experimental composition. “Back to Me” is relatively straightforward, though, and it just received some equally no-fuss visuals.
