In the latest victory for French electronic music, the party starters at the Monstart label have put out their Palm Club compilation EP, and it’s as eclectic as anything we’ve seen from the likes of their compatriots at Sound Pellegrino or Marble Music. Label residents Blackhouse, Ouanounou, Jared Leopard, Louis Ranc, and Woodini all come together on this five track EP, with all of their different spectrums of sound, to give people a perfect sample of what the Monstart label is all about. In my first experience with them, I’ve seen Woodini bring the delicate bass vibes, Jared Leopard bring straight four-on-the-floor house sounds, and Louis Ranc create a soundscape for raver dolphins, if such a thing were to exist. Also featured on this compilation: everything in between. The Parisian dance scene is getting more and more interesting every day thanks to crews like Monstart.
This one is going up for free on their Facebook page, even if it will cost you a “like”.
