Rappers from the Bay are prolific. I don’t know how many tapes MondreM.A.N. has released since he decided rapping was his thing, but I’ll skip the research like most music bloggers and just say “a lot.” Here’s something new he put together with the producer Nem270, called Rhythm & Zone. If you’re expecting the usual droning backdrops that you hear so often on Main Attrakionz records you might be disappointed. But if you have taste you’ll be OK with the many soul-sampling tracks that replace it. But you are reading this, so I trust that you have taste.
