Less than a year after releasing last year’s very good Rocky Maivia: Non Title Match, Bay Area-spitter Moe Green returns with the Lionheart EP. And like its predecessor, this EP is also free. That means you need to stop sleeping and just give up some of your bandwidth for what is sure to be one of the summer’s finest efforts. Green’s chill, blue-collar raps are easy to relate, which makes them a breath of fresh air. The same goes for his beat-selection as he doesn’t always rely on typical hip-hop sounds, such as on the bluesy “Masterpiece”.
