If you’ll allow me to be real for a second, the M|O|D crew is killing it. C.Z., Lil Texas, Rewrote, Yung Satan, and Arnold are the five members of the Boston based bass boys (alliteration on these hoes) and their most recent release in their Peng EP series is helping solidify their place in this wavy electronic realm. The EP features one track from each of the guys, and they all feature a unique electronic beat laced with random samples and huge drums. All five have something special to offer, for instance Lil Texas is more of a booty bounce up-in-the-club artist, while Rewrote’s tech-funk electronic noises impress even the snootiest of electronic nerds. Whatever you’re into, M|O|D has it, these guys definitely deserve your cosign.
