Over the summer, Los Angeles’ Mndsgn dropped a new concept album, Breatharian, that centered on the idea of breatharianism. The project is now finding a new home on the label branch of Fresh Selects. They have properly mixed and mastered Breatharian and bundled it up with liner notes, bonus tracks, and additional artwork.
But before the album gets here on Nov. 12, we’re bringing you the B-side of Mndsgn’s Frugal Earth Vol. Two mix. It’s 14 minutes worth of new and/or exclusive material from one of our favorite producers here at Potholes. You’ll hear remixes of Outkast and Flying Lotus in the mix along with a “roommate posse cut” featuring raps Zeroh, Yuk., and Shaolin Watts.
I have to admit that I always get a lil’ extra excited when I see Mndsgn’s name pop up in my RSS feed, be it by his own fruition or someone rapping over one of his beats. You can hear the mix below and pre-order Breatharian on Bandcamp. The above artwork was done by Alima Jennings.

Mndsgn’s work is always impressive, and his latest is no exception!
