If the Mister Cee situation wasn’t already bizarre enough, this morning the legendary DJ came on air with Hot 97 Program Director Ebro to come clean. In the process, Mister Cee broke down in tears multiple times, and talked about why he is so shook about the ordeal. With that, Ebro asked Mister Cee to reconsider his resignation.
After some thought, it appears Mister Cee will be coming back on the air to bring New York City throwbacks at noon. Something we are all thankful for. Listen to the full interview below, which, in all honesty, didn’t feel like it was something that needed to be broadcasted live on the air. But I digress.
Man that was a tough interview to listen to. i agree that it should not have been aired like this though. a bit too personal. maybe a statement by him would have been better, but maybe he needs this to overcome his addiction. wow…heavy shit and what bravery to come out and talk about his troubles like this in the homephobic hip hop community. wow heavy!
