Miguel‘s 2012 effort Kaleidoscope Dream launched this talented young R&B artist into the stratosphere, thanks mostly to his lady-loving, sensual smooth jams. But today Miguel shares with us one of his more introspective pieces in “Candles In The Sun”, which is also the closing track on his album. The song and video cover a number of topics that happen to be on the mind of the California singer, such as imprisonment, poverty, Hurricane Sandy, military and more. Personally, I love to see New Jersey getting some shine in the video, but there are a load of admirable issues that Miguel sheds light on throughout this music video.
