The mixtape totally went under our radar, but today we have been hipped to a new set of visuals from Mick Jenkins. The mixtape is called Trees and Truths, and it is yet another fine example of how exciting the hip-hop scene is over in Chicago. If you haven’t peeped it yet, then “Lack” and the accompanying video is a perfect introduction. The lyrics are introspective and the production is neat, and it shows signs that Mick Jenkins is yet another promising Midwest talent.
