In the past year or so, we’ve heard some killer cuts driven by the work of U.K. producer Metabeats. This includes a funky collaboration with Vanity Jay and a raw boom-bap jam with Action Bronson. You could consider those mere appetizers for Metabeats’ forthcoming album, Caviar Crackle, which includes the newly released “SLSBS” single with Quelle Chris. If you like your hip-hop grimy, drums-heavy, and made for middle finger throwing, you should love the hell out of this.
