MeLo-X Remixes Maxwell’s “Bad Habits” Live In The Studio

When MeLo-X isn’t shooting videos to promote last year’s absolutely great More Merch, he’s hanging in his studio providing live footage of his remixing skills. Here, he’s opted to showcase just how he broke Maxwell’s “Bad Habits” all the way down to create something completely new. Watching a producer at work on his MPC doesn’t always make for the most interesting viewing experience, but MeLo-X’s manipulation of his machinery is just the best. It doesn’t hurt that the source material and his remix, which he calls “The Highest”, are absolutely great.
