MeLo-X – “Cooked Food” f. The Redd Strypes

I am officially a fan of this man’s work so you can expect more from MeLo-X on Potholes from this point forward. It’s funny, Dave and I were talking about how we dismissed the guy’s music just based on his name alone. Kind of foolish, right? But I digress. Here, the focus is on the latest visuals from MeLo, who is showing respect to his upbringing in Flatbush, Brooklyn. He’s put together a singing crew called the Redd Strypes and together they deliver this somewhat-funny, completely awesome track, “Cooked Food”. Interesting note: The video was directed by Jesse Boykins III.

Hit the skip for the “Cooked Food” visuals.

  1. “c’mon on man, Peter tosh even sing… Bob marley let him sing one time.” hahaha. wicked.

great track and great video by my boy jesse boykins III who keeps filming some cool videos for artists like himself, melo-x and Theophilus London.

melo-x is on fire at the moment.

    P.S

Theophilus London had his Live Television debut on David Letterman last week. He performed his latest single “Why Even Try” feat. Sara Quin.
So its only a matter of time before Mr London, Melo-X and Jesse Boykins start getting more shine on the radio and people’s tv screens.
