Mellowhype – “La Bonita” [Video]

Mellowhype’s new single, “La Bonita”, has gone through some changes since we posted it earlier this summer. For one, it now features an opening verse from producer/sometimes-rapper Left Brain, who has also apparently fleshed out the instrumentation with some addition touches. It now sounds like a finished, possibly radio-friendly jam that just received the visual treatment. There’s a nun with a gun, Hodgy Beats stroking a monkey’s head, and huge-ass speakers. In other words, it doesn’t make that much sense…but it does? Watch it below. Numbers drops Oct. 9.
