Out of nowhere, MellowHype have chosen to liberate a new track, “Albany”, that, well, kind of fits into the more laid-back, Neptunes-y music we’ve heard from them. There’s not a lot going on here outside of some mild harmonizing from Hodgy Beats, which leads the minimalist Left Brain production to steal the show. I love the muted sample—I think it’s a sample—that rides underneath. Yeaaaah.
