MellowHype – “64″ [Video]

The good news is that MellowHype’s sophomore album, last year’s Blackenedwhite, is dropping on Fat Possum next month with two new tracks. But the bad news is that it won’t feature several tracks off the online release, most notably “Loco” and “Chordaroy”. Nonetheless, the duo of rapper Hodgy Beats and producer Left Brain have made up for it with “Igotagun” and “64″. We already heard the latter track when the guys performed it live with Bass Drum of Death, but here we get both the album version of the song and the video debut of MellowHype. If you like horror movies, particularly Halloween and Children of the Corn, you’re going to love this. It doesn’t hurt, of course, that the track itself is ill.
