Pharoahe Monch‘s W.A.R. Media crew continues to bring the goods today with “What You Want Me to Do (I’m Sorry)”. It’s the new single from singer MeLa Machinko, who has worked with the likes of Blu and, of course, the mighty Pharoahe Monch. The track serves as our first taste of her Hov Said It Best project and kicks off with a smooth interpolation of “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love)”. From there, Mela keeps it fresh and soulful while harmonizing over the boom-bap-y production. Listen below.
