Yesterday, New York producer Matt Shadetek dropped his new album, The Empire Never Ended, that contains a few collaborations with some choice rappers. Among them is the always-ridiculous RiFF RAFF, who spits a guest verse on standout cut “Bout It Girl”. A press release referred to this track as “codeine R&B” and, well, yeah it kind of is. But it’s also got a weird club-ready vibe to it, if said club was filled with people on drugs just kind of floating around and not dancing. Yeah, weird.
