A few years ago, Jakarta Records owner organized a recording session in Tunisia with nine female singers and musicians. He teamed up the artists with Oddisee and Olof Dreijer of The Knife to create a selection of tracks that would eventually help to form the forthcoming album Sawtuha. Today we get a taste of what the project will taste like by way of lead single “Nouh Al Hamam”. Featuring production from Oddisee and vocals from Egyptian singer Maryam Saleh, the two are able to create an absolutely hypnotizing piece of music.
