This EP is damn near perfect. Seriously, Man Mantis is a BEAST. Right off the bat with “Sea Ambulance”, bass and synth suck you in and take you to a far away place where crap music is as rare as the praying mantis itself. These songs are epic, especially “Sea Ambulance” and “Teacups of Our Ashes”. I can’t even believe right now that this EP is free, it is absolutely beyond me. On the other hand, it should serve as an excellent device for this man to receive some much deserved attention. Pitchfork — get on this, now!
