Woo, hoo. Another Madlib Medicine Show. What a surprise. Honestly, I don’t care about Madlib’s Medicine Show series — it is filled music that reminds me of how much Madlib is falling short of his true potential. I mean, sure, I am being a little harsh on Lib, this is some pretty good music after all. But can we just be honest for a second — how many times have you found yourself creeping back into Madvillain after listening to one of the first 11 parts of this series? If you ask me, it is every damn time. But if I am sick of it, why am I bothering with a post? Well, because this one has potential to be noteworthy. Thankfully closing out the 12 releases in 12 months series (which took way longer than 12 months), Raw Medicine will feature a slew of Madlib remixes of a wide array of artists’ music. You are going to have to wait until Sept. 27 for it, though, so head over to Stones Throw to keep yourself in the loop!
