While Dead Prez is making some questionable music lately, it seems that one half of the revolutionary duo is on the right track. M1’s new single, “Genocide Highway”, finds him linking with Nas over a bright, funky production from Beatnick & K-Salaam, who also handle the scratches on the hook. The heavy track is a dedication to Denmark Vesey, who planned a massive slave revolt in the 1800s only to be found out, convicted, and executed. Stream/download it below.
