M.anifest – “If I Was King” f. Krukid

I’ll be honest with you — OK, no, I hate that saying because I’m always honest here and everywhere. But anyway, just seeing M.anifest’s name attached to this track had me frantically looking for the play button. Whether on his own or with A.R.M, he simply makes great hip-hop that’s influenced by a number of cultures and genres. Here, he’s linking with fellow A.R.M spitter Krukid over an acoustic guitar-heavy Blastah Beatz production on “If I Was King”. Fingers crossed that we hear more of these three working together and that this isn’t just some one-off type of track, though M.anifest did label the album title as freetape for cheapskates.
