Lupe Fiasco Releases “American Terrorist Pt. 2”, Contemplates Retirement Again

Last night was a busy one for Lupe Fiasco. In addition to getting into it with Chief Keef—more on that later—he shared an unfinished version of “American Terrorist Pt. 2”. It’s equally as grandiose and polished as everything else we’ve heard from Food & Liquor 2, which isn’t necessarily a negative. The only downside to this cut is the overblown chorus and the wobbly chorus. Sometimes, Lu knocks it out of the park with his concepts, but when he gets cinematic like this, it’s a bit much. You can stream the track below.

As if that wasn’t enough for Fiasco, he also contemplated retirement for the umpteenth time. Peep that tweet below.

What do y’all think? Could this really be it for the Chicago rapper? I’m betting it’s not.
