Lupe Fiasco‘s latest single, “Lamborghini Angels”, comes with the following warning:
If you are easily offended or religiously sensitive DO NOT listen to #LamborghiniAngels it contains very strong subject matter.
With that in mind, I get the strong feeling that you’re going to have to listen to the Food & Liquor 2 joint multiple times to truly digest what it means. I hear mentions of pedophilia, religious folks using their power for evil, and the like, which sounds appropriate given the track’s title and his warning. What do y’all think? Could this be the blend of synthesizer-heavy production and thoughtful lyrics that Lupe might have been going for on Lasers? Stream the track below and cop it, if you’re feeling it, at midnight on iTunes.
