You know it, I know it, video game music rocks. But after a while, 8-bit soundtracks get kind of boring. That is, until a producer like Lunice comes along and takes all the simple synths and brings them to new height with sonically progressive pieces. Like “Guardian”, the latest single from this Montreal beatsmith, which features intense shots of synthesizer flare and wild percussion work. Absolutely perfect. “Guardian” will land on Lunice’s upcoming One Hunned EP, which will be available Aug. 16 via LuckyMe. [via]
