Straight out of Vermont, Loupo is a young producer that seems to draw inspiration from the past. His sound, though, is very refreshing. Case in point, “Still Searching…”, which samples Wim Overgaauw’s beautiful 1971 record “Without You”. For those of you who were big fans of Exile’s Radio, you might recognize this as the same sample used on “Love Line”. Regardless, Loupo put a fine spin of his own on the record, mixed in with energetic break beats and turntable cuts.
