You know why I like the music that comes from World Around so much? It’s not just because it’s good, if not great, every time. It’s because the guys seem to create and record everything in some kind of vacuum. Yes, there are some references to the outside world, especially by the label’s rappers, but for the most part it’s all World Around everything. And you hear that especially on the label’s latest project, Louis Mackey and Thirtyseven’s No Humans Allowed. The former produced the majority of the album with two cuts handled by Dr. Quandary. I could get into how the lyrics on here are dense and gripping (they are) and how the beats are fantastic (they are), but you really need to just hear this one for yourself.
