If you have frequented Potholes, you know that we have quite the affinity for the L.A. beat scene. From Flying Lotus to Shlohmo, there’s just something about experimental, spacey instrumental hip-hop that we can’t get enough of these days. And the latest artist to (officially) enter the realm is Brainfeeder’s Lorn, whose Nothing Else project dropped yesterday. He also doesn’t actually live or come from Los Angeles, but that’s not what’s important here. The focus here is on Lorn’s raw, melodic, and somehow-catchy music. Hope you dig it.
