The kid XXYYXX is officially on a roll. A few days ago, he dropped the pulsing “Backroom #8“, which he said was created out of boredom. Fair enough. Today, he’s back on his remixing tip with a serene remix of “I Haven’t Left” by experimental artist YYU. The original is an off-kilter piece of folk—I think?—but thanks to the Orlando-based producer, it’s now a smooth blend of field recordings and dreamy elements.
