Well, so is Lansing, Mich.-hailing rapper James Gardin, who we previously wrote about when he dropped a collaboration EP with producer Trebles and Blues. This time around, Gardin’s working with none other than Danny Swain on “Clock In,” a 9-to-5er’s anthem if there ever was one. Swain’s shuffling, live instrumentation-heavy backdrop is a choice setting for Gardin’s raps dedicated to everyone who’s clocking in just to get a check while their focus remains on something else entirely.
