Producer Dylan Tran is someone I’ve only recently grown familiar with, but I don’t think it’ll be long before he’s a household name for hip-hop fans all over the globe. The Two9 affiliate has a very unique style that doesn’t really identify with any one sound or influence—it’s eclectic and fresh. He just released his debut project to the world, Cocaine Tears, and it perfectly displays his skills as a producer. With features from fellow Two-9-era Curtis Williams and Jace, as well as the upcoming (and impressive) Rellajamu, the nine-track project is a fantastic introduction for the rising producer. He combines so many different elements of music and meshes them with unorthodox sounds and samples, making for a really well-done project from cover to cover.
