Listen to Dom McLennon’s Pensive Song “King Motherf*cker”

We first covered oddball funny man and creative Dom McLennon when he released his fragmented, fascinating project THESIS late last year. He had begun building a healthy buzz beforehand, and he has continued to do as much since that free album’s world entrance. With that said, we’ve shown a lot of love to many of McLennon’s AliveSinceForever collaborators since, but not so much Dom. That all changes with the recent liberation of “King Motherf*cker.”

“I’ve been, dealing with, too many people/and their other opinions — shut up”

A messy bass bump bodes well for the record, anchoring a minimalist, loose beat like an instrumental metronome. McLennon, ever a multi-talent, is responsible for the production alongside ASF member Romil. “King” is at its best when a chorus of croons swell in the background, and McLennon delves into a philosophical pondering of the currents that underly our own lives, and the universe at large.  Pay attention, folks.
