Brighton, England’s Shitmat has embarked on what is quite possibly the most amazing and absurd musical adventure ever. The producer/DJ has decided to remix every single U.K. number-one single from the past 60 years. Yes, you read that correctly: EVERY ONE OF THEM.
As you might expect, some of the resulting tracks are absolute shit-shows while others are noisy, albeit brilliant, pieces that shouldn’t work. But they do, oh damnation do they work. Like this one below.
Personally, I couldn’t sit through all of this one, which apparently remixes king fuckhead (I’m a jerk, whatever) David Guetta. That being said: good lord is it ever deliriously harsh.
Now we have one that’s slightly more recognizable in its approach with “House of the Rising Bum”. Including its awesome name, the track takes on a slew of hits like Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and, duh, “House of the Rising Sun”.
Obviously this one below is just for fun but … yeah, hilarity.
But wait, dude mashed-up a bunch of songs with Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name” as the base? OK, this is so good-bad it hurts. The end is the best, but don’t skip ahead!
