Oh Questlove, just when we already think you’re the best, you somehow out-best yourself. The Roots band leader just shared this stream of demo mix for the Beastie Boys tribute at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame show. And rather than, you know, simply making sure all the instrumentation and transitions are right, he went one step further and recorded all the vocals, too. It’s pretty amazing to hear him imitate all three Beasties and perform the tracks live, including “Sabotage”, “So What’cha Want”, “The New Style”, and “No Sleep Til Brooklyn”.
